After it closed as a pub some years ago, it has since been used as Co-Op convenience store and most recently a bathroom showroom.
The property is in a Conservation area and after undertaking a pre-planning application for change of use, the Council’s response was positive.
A full plans application has subsequently been submitted to convert the ground floor into a 6-bed care home for adults with complex needs. Works have begun and completion scheduled for September 2022.
